Tim Witt

Born and raised in Northwest Georgia, multi-instrumentalist Tim Witt first picked up a guitar at the age of 10, followed by the bass guitar at age 12, and the pedal steel at 18. After hearing Jerry Douglas playing live with Alison Krauss, he fell in love with the Dobro (resophonic guitar). Tim has played with numerous artists and groups over the years including The Hastys, The New Hinsons, the Trailblazers, Phil Cross, and others. He launched his recording studio in 1994 and began recording area and regional artists. Time is in demand as a session player and one of the founding members of Right Path a bluegrass gospel group.
